My absolute favourite pottery tool is the Scratchy Tool. I would be lost in the studio with out it. It is perfect for creating deep and precise cross-hatching/scoring patterns in clay to create a strong joins when attaching handles or joining clay to clay.
The flower shape allows you to easily and comfortably grip the tool in your hand, exactly what is needed during those endless hours of attaching handles to mugs.

-Creating cross-hatching/scoring
-Create texture in clay

Material: These pottery tools are made from 100% acrylic which is super strong and stiff but please note that over time and with use these tools (and all pottery tools) will wear due to the abrasive nature of clay.
